Primary Election - Be sure to vote!
Voting in this year's primary election is by mail-in ballot only. Make sure and vote! July 12 was the last day to register to vote in this election. Ballots have been mailed. If you have not received your ballot, call the La Plata County Election office at 970-382-6296.
Mail or drop off your ballot when you have completed it. Your ballot can be returned with a standard first class stamp.
Drop off locations will accept ballots from July 27–Aug 10.
- La Plata County Clerk & Recorder’s Office, Bodo Park, 98 Everett St, Suite C, Durango. Business Hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; The Saturday prior to Election Day 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; and Election Day 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
- La Plata County Courthouse, Information Desk, 1060 E. 2nd Ave., Durango. Business Hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; Election Day 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
- Bayfield Town Hall, 1199 Hwy 160B, Bayfield. Business Hours 8:30 am to 12:30 pm & 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm; Election Day 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Stop by and visit La Plata County Democrats 2010 Campaign Headquarters at 1101 Main Ave. in Durango.
