Every other year, our Central Committee - the precinct organizers, Democratic elected officials, and Dem party executive members - meet to nominate new leaders. This year we're meeting in a convivial way - over appetizers and beverages - to do just that.

2024 was a disaster nationally, but locally La Plata voted solid BLUE. We need to band together and figure out how to impact Washington DC over the next couple years, as well as how to protect the vulnerable in our communities and to WIN in 2026 - we have lots of important races coming up then! The La Plata Democratic Party will be electing a new chair, vice chair of volunteers, vice chair of events, and members of our Executive Committee, as well as new precinct organizers.
