Join us at the Fort Lewis Ballroom for a lovely evening of food and fare, dished up with a side of serious momentum building! This year's Roosevelts Gala will take place on September 7th from 4:30-8:30 pm and will include opporuntities to connect over appetizers, a delicious buffet dinner, fundraising fun with an auction, and inspiring speeches to ready us for the 2024 General Election.

After dinner and auction, We'll hear from candidates up and down the ballot as they give us insight into their busy races. We also learn from keynote speakers, Melissa Hendrix and Rob Rogers, as they take a dive into the roots of Project 2025—the authoritarian attempt to re-model the US Government. 

Melissa and Rob, with the El Paso County Democrats, are recognized experts on Christian nationalist groups (think Focus on the Family, et al) and will speak to the impacts this movement may have on our Democracy. We have been warned of Project 2025 for years and are well positioned to help us understand what it is, how to fight it, and how to WIN. 

This year, Fort Lewis is excited to showcase the talents of their new caterer! Our dinner will be a robust buffet with a variety of choices for your diet preferences, as well as plenty of appetizers and dessert.
