Guinn Unger, President of Colorado Healthcare Coalition, a La Plata County-based 501c3 non-profit, will present "Our Broken Healthcare System and How We Can Fix It."  The presentation will describe why our healthcare system costs twice as much per person as healthcare systems in other developed countries, while still not covering everyone and providing some of the worst healthcare outcomes among those developed countries.  It will also outline efforts which are currently underway to create a state-based universal healthcare system in Colorado.
